We all need other people in our lives. You might want to withdraw while you are grieving, but this will often deepen loneliness.

It is a challenge to become more self-sufficient and to re-engage with the world and with others. With time, you will probably feel more confident to renew old friendships and even meet new people. While this can be difficult, it is probably the best way to cope with your loneliness and restore your faith in the world.
